Raj Echambadi

D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University

Dunton Family Dean


Raj Echambadi is the Dunton Family Dean of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Prior to joining D’Amore-McKim, he served as the Alan J. and Joyce D. Baltz Professor and the Senior Associate Dean of Strategic Innovation at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He strongly believes that university-level business education – through both research and teaching – is a critical component in helping people and industries navigate the challenges of digital transformation and turn them into opportunities.


Echambadi received his BS in mechanical engineering and his MBA from Anna University in India, and his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Houston.

Julie Goodridge is a pioneer in the field of socially responsible investing. She has been in the investment industry since 1983, including her role as an early member of the Social Investment Forum (now US SIF) in 1984. Julie launched NorthStar Asset Management in 1990, and today stands at the forefront of a more proactive approach to progressive wealth management. Through direct interaction with every client, Julie provides financial planning expertise, drives major investment decisions, and is the final word for all shareholder activism activities.

David has more than 35 years of investment management experience and is a trailblazer in the socially responsible/impact investing arena. In 1994, he co-founded Access Capital Strategies and served as its president and chief investment officer from 1994 to 2010. In this capacity, he pioneered the development of market-rate, fixed income impact investments for institutional investors. He then worked as a consultant to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI’s), non-profits and social enterprises. David serves on the following boards: New York Advisory Board for Enterprise Community Partners, Croatan Institute, and AERIS®: The Information Service for Community Investors. He is also a former board member of U.S. SIF: The Forum for Sustainable Investment.  He holds FINRA licenses: Series 7 & 63.

Who can attend?

Everyone is invited to join us for the conference! We are expecting professionals and students from around the Greater Boston Area to attend. 

Who are the speakers at NU SIS 2019

Our speakers range from Presidents and CEO’ of Financial funds, Principals and Partners at VC’s, Angel Investors, Portfolio Managers, Managing Directors, Senior Associates, General Counsels, Deans, Professors and more.

How much are tickets and what does it cover?

Tickets for the summit are $20 and will cover breakfast, lunch, evening snack, and finger foods for the Networking Mixer. It also covers some marketing merchandise and access to all events at NU SIS  

What is the dress code for the summit?

Business Formal is encouraged, but feel free to wear what you are most comfortable in. 

What meals will be provided?

On the day of the conference light breakfast will be provided, along with lunch for every attendee. Light refreshments and snacks (coffee, water, bite-sized snacks etc.) will be provided throughout the conference. 

Where is the Summit being held?

The summit is being held at Raytheon Amphitheater inside the Egan Research Center located at 120 Forsyth St, Boston, MA 02115.

How do I get to the Venue?

  1. Train (T): Ruggles Station - Orange Line Stop or Northeastern Station - Green Line Stop
  2. Car: Street parking along St Stephens and Forsyth St. 
  3. Uber/Lyft: Set destination as: 120 Forsyth St, Boston, MA 02115.
